| Description | This exercise book was found with the bulk of the collection. It contains newspaper cuttings of both Sam and Jane Fitton's work, including that for Sally Butterworth. This is pasted over schoolwork in the name of 'Arthur Sherwin', of 'Werneth Council' School. Sam Fitton's name also appears several times on the book's cover. The four loose pieces which appear to come from the book were found with the collection. Only one cutting is dated, at 1909. |
