| Description | The booklet contains minutes of the committee established to organise the Borough's celebration and includes newspaper cuttings as well as copies of hymns and tunes to be sung at Alexandra Park etc.
Also loose within the volume is a card inviting Mr R Peacock to an Oldham Poor Children's Holiday Association meeting, 2 Jul 189; an invoice for refreshments provided to the Oldham Children's Holiday Association, 22 May 1897 and three copy letters to suppliers confirming their tender to provide refreshments on the 22 Jun 1897, signed by Mr Peacock, Chief Constable.
