TitleFinance and General Purposes Committee Minutes
DescriptionThe Finance Committee was formed as a result of a resolution of the full council at the 7 Sep 1849 meeting. A copy of the resolution is included at the front of the first minute book CBO/2/1/1/1. The committee's first meeting was the 5 Nov 1849. On the 9 Nov 1875 the Finance Committee amalgamated with the General Purposes Committee and became the Finance and General Purposes Committee. For General Purposes Committee and sub-committee minutes 1850-1875 see CBO/2/2 In 1971 it became the Finance and Resources Committee. Volumes CBO/2/1/1/1-61 are manuscript. Volumes CBO/2/1/1/62-79 are printed minutes. Volumes CBO/2/1/1/36-77; 79 include a manuscript index.
