3 - Letter to Mrs Roscoe, Blue Coat School Lodge, from the School Governor, informing her of the dates of Mr Roscoe leaving and Mr Selby taking up the position of [caretaker], requesting a date when the Lodge will be free for the new occupants and enclosing a sum towards moving expenses

4 - Letter to Mr Selby of 83 Stamford Street, from the School Governor, apologising for as yet having no definite details as to when the Lodge will be free for his occupation because Mrs Roscoe has still not confirmed their date of leaving

6 - Letter to the School Governor from Slater, Heelis and Co, Solicitors, Manchester returning a draft tenancy agreement with suggested alterations and describing a potential pitfall in the proposed plan to let the Lodge until needed once again by a member of staff

7 - Letter to the School Governor from A. F. Rountree Accountant, of W. Wrigley & Sons, explaining that the advice of Slater and Heelis regarding the potential pitfall in letting the Lodge was as expected and would not be covered by the agreement over a 6d stamp. Therefore, they had drawn up the enclosed agreement and had the new tenants sign it in their presence. The enclosed agreement is in the form of a letter to Mr Richards from Albert and Betty Platt of 14 Edward Street, Oldham, thanking him for the opportunity to rent the Lodge at a reasonable rate and confirming that they understand that this arrangement is only until the property is required by a member of staff, at which point they will vacate the Lodge.

11 - Letter to the School Governor from Mrs A. Turner, requesting consideration as a potential tenant of the Lodge. The reverse includes a draft reply stating that the Lodge has already been let to Mrs Rice, who is to join the domestic staff of the school

12 - Letter to 'Sir' from Mr E. Derbyshire of 592 Middleton Road, Chadderton, requesting consideration as a potential tenant of the Lodge. Mr Derbyshire offers his skills as a fitter to help with the school's maintenance and comments on his familiarity with the area, having been a spotter during the war at the school. At the top of the page, in pencil, is a draft reply stating that the Lodge is currently undergoing repairs and will then be occupied by a caretaker for the school.

13 - Covering letter to Mr Richards, School Governor, from Slater, Heelis and Co, enclosing a letter recording the occupation of the Lodge by Mrs Smith. The enclosure lists Mrs Smith's terms of employment with the School as cleaner and gate keeper and states her rights to residence at the Lodge, signed by Mrs Smith and T. T. Richards

14 - Letter to Mr S. Pearson of Messers Clegg, Slater and Pearson, Solicitors, detailing the circumstances with regard to Mrs Freeth and her resignation from the post of school cleaner and expressing the desire to have her move out of the Lodge to allow the new cleaner to take up residence. The enclosure lists Mrs Freeth's terms of employment with the School as cleaner and gate keeper and states her rights to residence at the Lodge, signed by Mrs Freeth and T. T. Richards

15 - Letter to Mr Richards, School Governor, from Charles Clegg, Slater and Pearson, Solicitors, acknowledging receipt of his letter dated 10 Apr and detailing what steps have been taken to resolve the situation regarding Mrs Freeth and the tenancy of the Lodge

16 - Letter to Mrs E. Mills, listing her terms of employment with the school as cleaner and gate keeper and stating her rights to residence at the Lodge, signed by Mrs Mills and T. T. Richards

Forsyth of 105 Beever Street, Oldham, from the Vice Chairman of the Executive and Finance Committee of the Oldham, Henshaw and Church of England Educational Trust, serving him notice of the termination of his employment as Maintenance Engineer at the school and detailing terms of the termination

23 - Letter to Mr Stott of 11 Chancery Lane, Shaw, from the Clerk, informing him that he has been appointed Governor's Man at the school and expressing the hope that he and his wife will come to live in the Lodge on site
