TitleAfter-Care Helpers
DescriptionThe idea of the After-Care Helpers was that, after a pupil left School they would be assigned a helper, who would keep in touch with them up to the age of seventeen. The helpers would encourage them to continue to improve themselves and remain committed to their employment. Henshaw's Blue Coat School Old Boys' Association undertook to implement the After-Care Helpers' system, with Old Boys being assigned to recent school leavers.
